Eight Seychellois to take on The Voice Africa in Nigeria
Following Airtel Seychelles’ announcement in October 2022 that Seychelles was 1 of the 14 countries selected to participate in the first edition of The Voice Africa, auditions were held on December 3rd to select the most powerful voices in the country.
7 participants were originally expected to be chosen to fly off for the blind auditions in Lagos, but a total of 8 talents will be going on the adventure of a lifetime where they’ll be competing against over 90 other contenders for the grand prize of US$ 100,000 and a recording contract with Universal Studios.
All selected participants from each country will also be awarded US$ 5000 and Airtel goodies.
Participants from: Seychelles, Zambia, DRC, Niger, Nigeria, Gabon, Madagascar, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Congo Brazzaville, Chad, Rwanda and Malawi; are expected to impress judges during the famous blind auditions where the panel of coaches will hear them perform for the first time.
A total of 20 shows will be filmed for this season of The Voice Africa and will be shown on SBC later this year.
