Meet the Contestants – Miss Regatta 2025
The Miss Regatta pageant is more than just beauty – it’s about empowerment, resilience, and celebrating the talents and stories of young Seychellois women. Each contestant brings her own journey, passions, and aspirations to the stage.
Here’s your chance to get to know the 14 incredible young women competing for the Miss Regatta 2025 crown.
Contestant 1 – Trisha Mondon
A proud 20-year-old from Belonie, passionate about free diving, dancing, singing and writing poetry which reflects her creativity and drive.
She hopes to use her platform in the pageant to inspire others and make a lasting difference. With grace, determination and a heart for solutions, Trisha represents the true spirit of empowerment and resilience.
Contestant 2 – Mickella Jean
Mickella Jean, 22 years old, began her modeling career in 2020 at the age of 18, gaining recognition through various local projects.
A dancer since birth, she embraces the power of movement and the arts to inspire and uplift others. She also performs cultural dances in hotels, restaurants, and local activities, sharing Seychelles’ traditions with international visitors and promoting cultural appreciation.
Guided by creativity and confidence, Mickella aspires to empower others and make a meaningful contribution both within and beyond the pageant stage.
She believes true beauty lies not only in appearance but in the ability to inspire change, uplift others, and leave a lasting impact.
Contestant 3 – Pia Pool
Is a determined young woman with a passion for growth and community impact. She is dedicated to pursuing her dreams while inspiring others with her resilience, confidence, and compassion.
Through pageantry, Pia hopes to showcase that true beauty lies in purpose and the courage to uplift others
Contestant 4 – T-Neishah Labaleine
An ambitious young woman who embodies grace, confidence, and purpose. Passionate about mental health advocacy, she is committed to creating impactful change among teens in Seychelles by promoting wellness, self-expression, and personal growth.
With a love for dance and the arts, she uses creativity as a tool to inspire resilience and positivity within her community. Through her pageant journey, T-Neishah aims to represent not only beauty and elegance but also a powerful vision for a brighter, healthier future for young people everywhere.
Contestant 5 – Shaniah Dick
Is a passionate model who began her journey in the industry at the age of 18. Alongside her love for modelling, she has a deep interest in understanding human behaviors, which continues to inspire her in both her personal and professional life. In her free time, she enjoys hiking in nature and cherishing quality moments while socializing with friends.
One of her favorite quote is “Confidence is not about standing out, but about inspiring others to rise with you.”
Contestant 6 – Tasha Barbe
Meet Tasha a 23-year-old dedicated professional from Anse Royale with a background in business administration and a passion for creative hairstyling.
As a former national basketball team player, she brings the values of discipline, teamwork, and resilience into all aspects of her life. Tasha’s dream is to use sport as a meaningful avenue for youth empowerment, providing positive distractions that help prevent crises and encourage young people to reach their full potential.
Contestant 7 – Gaelle Morel
Gaelle is a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a deep passion for a variety of sports. Music is another cornerstone of her life.
Beyond her passion for sports and music, she has a growing fascination with the sea. This balance of active pursuits and soulful interests reflects her vibrant personality and her eagerness to embrace life’s many experiences.
Contestant 8 – Pascalina Ally
A proud Creole woman and passionate natural hair braider, Pascalina embraces her beauty and strength while inspiring others to do the same.
With confidence and resilience, she aims to empower young people to believe in themselves and reminds them that no matter what challenges they face, things will always get better.
Contestant 9 – Letysha Dufrene
Proud Seychelloise currently studying Travel and Tourism at the Seychelles Tourism Academy. Inspired by the beauty and culture of her islands, she joined Miss Regatta 2025 to be a voice for the youth, especially those who feel unheard.
Her goal is to empower young people to believe in themselves and embrace opportunities with courage. She also sees fashion as a powerful form of self-expression and enjoys creating styles that reflect her personality.
Contestant 10 – Sarah Etheve
Meet Sarah, Driven, Determined, and Breaking stereotypes.
With grit, grace, and a little grease, Sarah represents a new generation of young women unafraid to get their hands dirty and unafraid to lead.
Whether Sarah wears safety shoes or platform heels, she will shine in both.
Contestant 11 – Kerrie Tamboo
At just 18, Kerrie is a passionate dancer whose love for movement goes beyond rhythm. Through every step, she expresses her story, inspires others, and uses dance as a way to connect and uplift.
As the saying goes, ‘Dance is the hidden language of the soul,’ and Kerrie lives that truth with every performance.
Contestant 12 – Nathalia Larue
She is 19 and currently works with Creole Travel Services.
She has chosen to take part in Miss Regatta 2025 as a journey of self-growth and to embrace her true self, and to honor her family and friends, who believes in her and make them proud!
Contestant 13 – Shamira Padayachy
At 25 years old, she is a bold young woman who turns her passion for fitness into a lifestyle of strength and self-confidence.
She believes true beauty isn’t just about looking good, it’s about owning your worth, standing tall, and inspiring others to do the same. With resilience in her heart and fire in her spirit, Shamira is here to prove that wellness is power.
Contestant 14 – Janessa Laure
Miss Regatta represents both an experience and a new journey. As a single mother, she hopes to inspire other single parents who struggles and fights for their families, reminding them that they are not alone. She believes there is always a place or someone willing to help-sometimes, it only takes speaking out about one’s pain to find hope and solutions.
One of Janessa’s guiding affirmations is: “Loneliness only brings you to darkness.”
