The GREAT Battle for the Crown is a dynamic music competition celebrating British hits and iconic British music, reimagined by some of Seychelles’ most exciting emerging talent.

Contestants will take on well-known songs from the UK, bringing their own style and interpretation to each performance as they compete across multiple rounds. Guided by expert judges, participants will showcase their vocal ability, creativity, and stage presence in a high-stakes journey toward the final.

Jeff Glekin

A passionate supporter of the arts and a self-confessed fan of The Beatles, Jeff Glekin, British High Commissioner, brings a unique cultural perspective to the panel. His involvement highlights the importance of music as a bridge between cultures, celebrating creativity and connection through performance.

Taniah

One of Seychelles’ standout musical voices, Taniah is best known for her hit “Nepli Parey.” With extensive experience as both a performer and mentor, she brings invaluable insight, guiding contestants not only on vocal ability but also on stage presence and artistic identity.

Isham Rath

A key member of the band Mozaik, Isham Rath adds a strong industry edge to the judging panel. With his deep understanding of live performance and musical arrangement, he is perfectly placed to identify originality, creativity, and true star potential.

Second Place

The second-place finalist will receive:

• A paid three-month performance residency at Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa

Third Place

The third-place finalist will receive:

• A paid three-month performance residency at Canopy by Hilton Seychelles Resort

This residency provides valuable stage experience and exposure within a high-profile hospitality setting.
