What is Festival Kreol?

Festival Kreol is an annual celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Seychelles. Seychelles’ Creole identity has been shaped by African, European and Asian influences, creating a culture that is uniquely Seychellois. Festival Kreol provides an opportunity for locals and visitors to experience this heritage through music, dance, language, food, art, traditions and community celebrations.

It is a festival where the islands’ history and traditions meet contemporary Seychellois creativity, and where visitors can experience Seychelles beyond its beaches and turquoise waters.
