Festival Kreol 2026

Festival Kreol 2026 is here, bringing Seychelles’ Creole culture, traditions and creativity to life throughout October! The annual celebration brings communities together through music, dance, art, food, fashion, markets and cultural events, showcasing the unique Seychellois identity shaped by generations of diverse influences. With activities taking place across the islands, there are plenty of opportunities to experience, celebrate and enjoy Kreol culture in all its forms.

Festival Kreol Events: 23–24 October 🇸🇨

Selebo – 23 October | Stadium Car Park | 11am
Join one of Festival Kreol’s popular public gatherings, bringing people together for a celebration of Creole culture, entertainment and community.

Live Outdoor Performance – 23 October | National History Museum | 3pm–7pm
Enjoy live music and performances from local Seychellois artists in the heart of Victoria as Festival Kreol brings the city to life.

Moman Kreativite – 24 October | ICCS Auditorium | 2pm
A creative competition showcasing the artistic talent, imagination and originality of young Seychellois students from primary through to post-secondary level.

Regional Moutya – 24 October | La Digue | 4pm–12am
Experience the rhythm and tradition of Moutya on La Digue, bringing the community together to celebrate one of Seychelles’ most important expressions of Creole culture.

Live Outdoor Performances – 24 October | Victoria | 11am–1pm
Look out for live musicians and performers around Market Street, STC, Fresh Cut and Cold Storage, adding music, culture and Festival Kreol atmosphere to Victoria.
