Festival Kreol 2026 is here, bringing Seychelles’ Creole culture, traditions and creativity to life throughout October! The annual celebration brings communities together through music, dance, art, food, fashion, markets and cultural events, showcasing the unique Seychellois identity shaped by generations of diverse influences. With activities taking place across the islands, there are plenty of opportunities to experience, celebrate and enjoy Kreol culture in all its forms.
Festival Kreol Events: 28–29 October 🇸🇨
Latelie 3 Yennm Az Avek Zenn – 28 October | ICCS Auditorium, Room 1 | 11am
A cultural exchange bringing older and younger generations together to share experiences, knowledge, traditions and perspectives.
Creole Mass – 28 October | Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception | 12pm
A special Festival Kreol service celebrating Seychelles’ Creole identity, cultural heritage, faith and community.
Live Outdoor Performances – 28 October | Airport/Ports | 12pm–1:30pm
Local musicians and performers bring Festival Kreol entertainment to Seychelles’ main points of entry.

Enjoy an evening of live performances from local Seychellois artists, bringing music and Festival Kreol atmosphere to Victoria.
Tonbola – Creole Fair, Day 1 – 29 October | Freedom Square, Victoria | 11am–10pm
One of the big Festival Kreol celebrations! Head to Freedom Square for Creole food, traditional games, cultural activities, local businesses and live entertainment, bringing the community together to celebrate Kreolite.
